Chef Douglas Sisk brings over 35 years of global culinary experience to the table. As a Certified Executive Chef with a career that spans six U.S. states, four countries, and countless kitchens, Douglas has cooked for everyone from world leaders to celebrities, always with the same goal: to create unforgettable moments through food.
His accomplishments include gold and silver culinary medals, appearances on the Food Network, and features in Travel + Leisure. He is also an advocate for sustainable seafood, health-conscious cuisine, and community initiatives.
At SURF, Chef Douglas blends his love for food, hospitality, and the ocean, crafting dishes that highlight fresh flavours and quality ingredients.

SURF is more than just a name—it’s a tribute to our history. The restaurant sits on the former site of the Surfside Beach Club, a beloved Bermuda destination that was known for its charm, sea views, and warm hospitality. By naming the restaurant SURF, we honour the heritage of the property while embracing its exciting future as part of Azura.
